Cindy (pictured, right) was living in Texas working in a Senior Center as a caregiver. When she was laid off last month, she packed up her car and drove to Arvada to move in with her sister, Mona. Mona suffers from strokes and is on Disability. They two of them stick together and try to make the best of a tough situation. IFCS is a blessing to them. They enjoy sitting at the kitchen table and squeezing oranges from IFCS to make fresh OJ. Together they’ve made apple pie and apple butter. They look forward to finding new recipes together during lockdown.
